About the project
In today’s world, the boundaries between reality and illusion are becoming increasingly blurred. This project employs an interweaving of the real and the illusion to explore the complexity and multiplicity of self-identity. The recurring figure dressed in a suit represents roles assumed in daily life, wandering through various dreamscapes like a sleepwalker—engaging in self-reflection, internal dialogues, or experimenting with imagined characters and alternative lifestyles. Each dreamscape becomes a space for intimate conversation with the self.
In terms of expressive form, the project combines photography and collage techniques, merging diverse scenes and characters. By blending and integrating different visual elements, it constructs a distinctive narrative and creates a surreal aesthetic experience. AI-generated backgrounds further liberate each scene from the constraints of reality.
Through this exploration of multiple media, the project highlights the intricate relationship between the virtual and the real, prompting a reevaluation of self-identity and self-expression in the digital age.
